IT Operations Automation Engineer/Developer II responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and innovative solutions to improve day-to-day operations, efficiencies, and incident enrichment. Collaborate with stakeholders to guarantee customer needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 2+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting automation
  • At least 2 years of hands-on Python experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Ansible
  • Experience with ServiceNow is preferred
  • Javascript, PowerShell and Kubernetes experience is a strong advantage
  • SQL, REST API experience and familiarity with xMatters is an advantage
  • Familiarity with SDLC, SAFe and Agile methodologies is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and multidiscipline team, learn and apply new skills and techniques to respond to business needs
  • Ability to communicate in English effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of IT and passion to automate it all, motivated to constantly be up to date with the newest technologies and proactively bring ideas to the table
  • Proactiveness and collaboration
  • Be open for change and drive/support initiatives to improve existing processes
