Jira Developer

We are seeking a Jira Developer to manage and lead the support and maintenance of JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket and other marketplace add-on solutions. The role requires expertise in Atlassian, experience in Agile environment, and strong communication skills. The job involves configuring Jira layout, design, workflows, dashboards, and reports, as well as providing service and troubleshooting support for teams and end users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading the development, configuration, administration and maintenance of Jira, Confluence (both cloud and on-prem versions)
• Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in Jira
• Ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira
• Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
• Experience working in Agile environment and solid understanding of Agile principles.
• Experience customizing Jira/Confluence
• Experience training others in Jira/Confluence, creating documentation and user training materials.
• Experience integrating Atlassian products with other systems, (e.g. ServiceNow, Azure AD, Teams) is preferable.
• Strong JQL knowledge and experience customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reporting.
• Ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira, including scheduling and resource loading.
• Ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop ways of addressing.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm to help others.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
• Exposure to data analytics tools like powerBI is desirable, but not a must have.
