As a Senior Support Engineer, you will provide Level 2 technical support for financial systems, troubleshoot escalated issues, and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration within a financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of investment management software, trading platforms, and compliance systems.
- Experience troubleshooting financial data feeds, transaction processing systems, and market connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with portfolio management tools, algorithmic trading systems, and risk analysis software.
- 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server and.NET technologies.
- 3+ years of experience working with NoSQL and relational database management systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently and handle pressure effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
