Seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience working with Chef, Unix/Linux/Windows Platforms, and Hybrid Cloud Solutions. Must have advanced knowledge of Ruby scripting and Chef/Puppet best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years experience working with Chef
  • 5+ Years experience working with Unix/Linux/Windows Platforms
  • 5+ Years experience working with Hybrid Cloud Solution offering IaaS, PaaS and XaaS
  • 3+ Years experience working with VMware Virtualization
  • 2+ Years exposure working with Backup and Recovery Solutions in the Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud and Virtual environments
  • 2+ Years recent exposure working with ServiceNow
  • Advanced knowledge of Chef/Puppet and best practices
  • Advanced knowledge of Ruby scripting and best practices
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and best practices
  • Working knowledge of Python scripting and best practices
  • Comfortable with Server Side scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Windows Batch
  • Comfortable with web technologies including HTTP, SSL/TLS, SOAP, and REST
  • Experience working with Cloud Management Platform (CMP) for Cloud Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration
  • Ability to have an open dialog with an application team, learn their application's function and API to build extensive integrations
