Configuration Manager

Space42 is a UAE-based AI-powered SpaceTech company seeking a Configuration Manager to oversee the lifecycle management of critical assets and ensure tight and accurate configuration control across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITSM platforms and experience with asset lifecycle management, IT service management tools, and AI-driven predictive maintenance strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Asset Management or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in ITIL, ISO 55000, or CMDB tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT asset and configuration management or a similar role.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, network, server, monitoring tools and general IT application operations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with IT service management tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, ManageEngine).
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong technical knowledge of AI-driven asset tracking, IoT, and cloud-based configuration tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in predictive maintenance.
• Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work in regulated environments
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
