Core Cloud Operations Specialist

Join us as a Cloud Operations Specialist in our newly established CloudOpsSec team to enhance our day-to-day operations and security governance of our GN Azure Cloud Platforms. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, developing and upholding Azure cloud governance policies, and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to meet operational and security standards.

Requirements

• Extensive skill in Azure cloud services and operations, with proficiency in cloud management and native Azure resources like AppServices, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.
• Automation background, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines that include collaboration with developers, architects, and other DevOps teams in our Azure services delivery.
• Solid understanding of backup, patch, and security best practices, along with configuration management tools and practices.
• Familiarity with open-source tools and managed service offerings, and knowledge of cloud governance and policy compliance.
• Problem-solving skills and incident response capabilities, with the ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools and techniques for cloud environments.
• Effective communication skills, with English proficiency at C-level.
• Experience in providing observability and applying Site Reliability Engineering principles.
• Experience with ITIL, ServiceNow, or similar frameworks
