As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across various platforms and services. You'll manage systems data for clients and provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as CMDB, ServiceNow Administration
- Understanding of ITIL Framework – Especially Configuration Management and Change Management processes
- Data Management & Integrity Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of CI (Configuration Item) data
- Relationship Mapping Understanding dependencies between IT assets, applications, and business services
- CMDB Administration Experience with CI attributes, classes, and lifecycle management
- Discovery & Reconciliation Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, and Integration Hub for auto-populating CMDB
- Asset & Inventory Management Handling software, hardware, and cloud assets in CMDB
- ServiceNow CMDB Module Proficiency in configuring and maintaining CI classes, attributes, and relationships
- ServiceNow Discovery & Integrations – Understanding how Discovery works to populate CMDB and integrate with external tools (e.g., SCCM, AWS, Azure)
- Service Mapping Ability to create business service maps to visualize dependencies
- Workflow & Automation Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Scheduled Jobs
- Scripting Basic to advanced knowledge of JavaScript (Glide API, Script Includes, UI Policies, etc.
- Reporting & Dashboards Creating reports and dashboards in ServiceNow for CMDB compliance and tracking
