The Enterprise Architect IV will play an essential role in merging infrastructure and network disciplines within UCF IT's telecommunications ecosystem, bringing together traditional telecom engineering practices with private cloud and network architecture. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining the architectural integrity of telecom applications, supporting the continuous improvement of network throughput and uptime monitoring capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
- 8-10 years of experience in enterprise systems architecture.
- Experience with network monitoring tools, including PRTG, Netflow, and others.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
- Relevant certifications related to networking and systems architecture (ex: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, PCNSE).
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems for IT service management.
- Strong technical leadership experience with a history of successful cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with infrastructure automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar experience in.
- Experience with firewall architecture design and implementation.
