The Finance Department of the IMF is seeking an experienced and qualified candidate for a Finance Analyst position in its Administrative Expenditures and Control Division (AX). The successful candidate will be assigned to the Administrative Payments (AP) section, which comprises Travel/Accounts Payable Unit, External Accounts Unit, and Ledger and Cash Management Unit.
Requirements
- University degree, or equivalent, in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in a related position at Grade A5, or equivalent
- Knowledge of general accounting rules and practical experience of their application in the context of administrative payments
- Strong command of excel
- Proven track record of problem solving, system troubleshooting, and innovation
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Experience with Peoplesoft Financials, ServiceNow and/or previous experience and knowledge of accounts payable, travel payments, field office operations, donor reimbursements, and related accounting and administrative policies and procedures is preferred
