The HR Case Specialist provides primary case management and analytics in the areas of leave of absence services. They will have in-depth knowledge of processing leaves of absence and play a key role in supporting and enhancing the day-to-day operations of the leave of absence team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in administration of HR, Leave of Absence or Payroll
  • Knowledge of STD, LTD, and leave policies, plans, and procedures as well as federal and state leave laws such as FMLA, PFML, and ADA
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications, Teams, Workday, and ServiceNow
  • Effective math, verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of adaptability and flexibility for change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service and telephone skills to problem solve, de-escalate, and communicate policies
  • Ability to identify key metrics, interpret data, audit data, and resolve exceptions
  • Technical skills to identify and test leave and disability scenarios in systems and to assist in process development
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with personal information, leave details, compensation and benefit information
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines simultaneously
