As an IT Business Systems Analyst IV, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems. The role involves optimizing IT & OT Asset Management processes, leading transformation initiatives, and influencing teams to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.

Requirements

  • Acts as liaison between the IT development group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systems.
  • Serves as subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business/end-user team(s)
  • Creates annual budget analysis and cost management for responsible application including projects, ongoing maintenance, support and licensing
  • Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to operational standards
  • Conducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and provides recommendations based on collected information
  • Ensures the maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meet the organizational business objectives and IT standards
  • Remediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem management standards using ServiceNow
  • Evaluates, develops and implements new application systems and develops technical requirements following standards for software development lifecycle
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives
  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for cost reduction, avoidance and improved application performance
  • Modernizes, upgrades and conducts application health checks as the need arises to ensure system stability
  • Collaborates with assigned resources to handle project-related activities for assigned applications
  • Prepares recurring application dashboard metrics and reports to show analysis on specific key data points and provides cost transparency for applications, as requested
  • Configures ITAM platforms like Ivanti, ServiceNow, and Flexera with advanced knowledge
  • Utilizes asset discovery tools such as Claroty, SCCM, and Intune, understanding their impact on the asset management lifecycle
  • Manages asset lifecycle including inventory tracking, software license optimization, end-of-life planning, and integrates financial, contractual, and operational data into ITAM strategies

Requirements Summary

High school diploma or GED and a minimum fifteen (15) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum ten (10) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience. Five years of IT Asset Management experience covering best practices, strategic road mapping, and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and digital assets
