The IT Change and Release Manager oversees the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process and ensures that all IT Applications, operations, and infrastructure changes are assessed, approved, and implemented with minimal disruption to business operations. The role involves managing change requests, recording, documenting, and creating audit reports, and ensuring compliance with the organization's change management policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of work experience in IT Service Management, with at least 3+ years in change management or release management roles
- Proven experience in coordinating and facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
- ITIL Foundation certification (Must) or equivalent is highly preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile/Scrum certifications will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and IT service management best practices
- Working experience with Jira Service Desk, Jira Boards, Jira Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Knowledge of version control: Git/GitHub, Bitbucket
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools: CircleCI, Jenkins, and Copado
- Excellent organizational, facilitation, and coordination skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Fair understanding of Enterprise, Data, Corporate IT, and Technology Operations teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
