As a Manager, Software Engineering at ServiceNow, you will build cloud software for businesses, drive design and implementation of high-quality software solutions, and motivate and guide a team to deliver exceptional results. You will have the opportunity to work on complex problems, integrate AI into work processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with application development, system architecture, and production support for highly complex enterprise level products
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing multi-cultural and diverse engineering teams across multiple locations
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Shell, JavaScript)
  • Experience with Front-end/UI frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and the capability to listen and influence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand the business case for each deliverable undertaken and works with product owners to help ensure benefits are realized
  • Experience with open-source tools and agile development environments
  • Ability to understand and implement best practices and coding standards required including programming languages, tools, design and development methodologies and processes, etc.)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to facilitate discussions across a range of internal teams and manage dependencies
  • Experience in ServiceNow is a plus
  • Experience in Partner Relationship Management / Customer Relationship Management domain is desirable
  • Experience with developing and embedding Generative AI based services and capabilities is a plus
  • A proactive attitude and sense of ownership to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements Summary

5+ years of experience in application development, system architecture, and production support, with 3+ years of experience managing diverse engineering teams
