The NOSC Network Lead is responsible for providing daily management and oversight to a team of technicians providing support for a 24x7x365 Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) on a large government program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or equivalent education
- Five (5 plus) years routing/switching experience in an engineering support capacity in LAN/WAN networks
- Ten (10 plus) years of experience in government IT contracting
- Previous experience managing teams in a 24x7x365 shift environment
- Knowledge of network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
- Experience with Cisco command line interface and configuration
- Experience working with wireless technologies, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), WAN Accelerators, and associated technologies
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow in creating, updating, and closing tickets
- CCNA certification
- Active Top Secret Security clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred
