Abile Group has an exciting opportunity for Operations 24x7 Support (Sr System Administrator)-Night Shift / Weds(Alt) - Sat 1730-0530ET on a 10 year contract. The right candidate will possess the skills and qualifications to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration
- Must meet current DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements or higher
- Working knowledge and understanding of the ITIL V4 framework with the intent of attaining ITIL V4 Foundations certification
- Effective investigation, triage, and troubleshooting of tier 2+ issues in a virtual environment
- Virtual host and Server administration
- Hands-on administration within a virtualized environment
- Enterprise-level monitoring suites/software (i.e. BMC BPPM/TrueSight, HP NNM, Splunk, WhatsUp Gold, Nagios, etc.)
- Maintaining detailed, operational awareness of various cross-functional, technical disciplines
- Working experience with ITSM software suites, preferably ServiceNow
