U.S. Bank is seeking a Physical Security Systems Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with security application systems, IP network configuration, and Genetec, Mission Control, and DMP integrating it as a central station software. The role will involve engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
- At least 5 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure
- Genetec Certified – Omnicast, Synergis
- Experience utilizing DMP integration in Genetec and utilizing video analytics
- Experience supporting federal banking contracts
- Experience supporting International – specifically EU and GDPR requirements
- Verifiable experience with March, Pacom, Verint
- Access Control Systems: Programming and installation experience with Genetec and Mercury access control systems
- Video Management Systems: Programming experience with Genetec and March Networks video management systems
- Intrusion Alarm Systems: Programming experience with Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) intrusion alarm systems
- Building Management Systems: Programming experience with various building management systems
- Advanced IT skillset
- Strong PC skills – SQL, ServiceNow, Excel, PowerBi, Sharepoint
- Strong oral, technical writing, and communication skills
- Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients, and other network/system stakeholders
- Ability to balance high-quality standards with schedule pressures and a demanding environment
