Principal Associate-IT (Senior Network Engineer)

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions, managing state-of-the-art networking services, and working closely with other teams to ensure alignment and governance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure design and transitions, and a strong understanding of protocols such as IP, SNMP, SMTP, OSPF, VLAN, ACLs, and more.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Fortinet products: FortiGate, Forti Manager (templates), FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiAnalyzer
• Experience in Network infrastructure design and transitions.
• Network components maintenance experience (upgrades, etc.)
• Firewalls (Fortigate, Checkpoint)
• Data Centre network experience
• Cisco based routing and switching (CCNP level)
• Knowledge of protocols: IP, SNMP, SMTP, OSPF, VLAN
• ACLs
• Static routing
• SDWAN
• Switch stacking
• Experience of complex network migrations
• Wireless experience
• Ticketing tools experience (preferably ServiceNow)
• Ability to read, understand and create technical documentation of the delivered solutions
• Collaborative team player
