At Northrop Grumman, we are seeking a Tier II Network Engineer to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. The successful candidate will support the customer's computer data communications systems, design specifications, testing, and inspections for computer networks, and provide support for the installation and maintenance of LAN/WAN devices.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with an adjudicated Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or 3 years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree
- Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
- Knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
- Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentals
- Ability to travel 25 percent of the time
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade and Foundry OS
- Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE
- Familiarity with Visio, ServiceNow, and Confluence
- May have up to 10% COMSEC responsibilities
