Release Management Lead – IT

The Release Management Lead for IT Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of software updates, infrastructure changes, and new services into production environments. This role ensures that releases are implemented smoothly, on time, and with minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in release management, IT services, or software development lifecycle management.
• Proven experience leading complex releases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and release automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of ITIL release management processes.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple releases simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• ITIL certification (Release, Control, and Validation)
• PMP or equivalent project management certifications
• DevOps or Agile-related certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
