We are looking for an SAP Engineer to provide day-to-day operations support and on-call support in a complex mission-critical SAP environment. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in SAP basis administration and be comfortable working with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Unix/Linux system administration.
Requirements
- SAP basis administration experience (SAP Basis ABAP/JAVA)
- Knowledge & experience with databases administration: Oracle, MaxDB, MSSQL, DB2, HANA
- Computer/IT literacy – comfortable working with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
- Experience in Unix/ Linux system administration
- Windows OS knowledge (basics of administration)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Basic knowledge of IP Services
- UX Based system commands
- NT based systems – basic commands
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment – team player
- Logical thinking, proactive mindset, problem solving and decision making awareness
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with minimal direction
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment and ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Willingness to learn new things and ability to be a quick learner

- Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
- Fluent written and spoken English (German or other additional foreign language is advantage)
