Discover is seeking a Senior Associate Engineer to join their ServiceNow team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ServiceNow capabilities, including Platform Management and Service Catalog, and will be able to program most features and test cases unattended. The role is responsible for developing and growing skills and talents with other ServiceNow Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Information Security, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of advance beginner on the Dreyfus engineering scale
  • ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementer, etc.)
  • Experience implementing ServiceNow capabilities, including Platform Management, Performance Analytics, and Configuration Compliance
  • Knowledge of React, Redux, and Java application frameworks
  • Experience building secure web applications with user authentication
  • Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form
