The Senior Associate, Software Engineering - ServiceNow role provides expertise in implementing and supporting various third-party software packages in support of OCC’s clearing and enterprise business systems. The candidate must be able to solve problems creatively, communicate effectively, and proactively engage in technical recommendations to help achieve objectives.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of Agile and scaling Agile practices for multiple teams
- Demonstrated experience using planning and project management tools like Jira & Confluence
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in roles that help deliver technology improvements, road mapping and product development
- Creative, technical expert who possesses business acumen to help create innovative and modern products for our users
- Leader who will develop customer-focused and innovative solutions to complex problems inspiring stakeholders and supporting a robust product strategy
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in designing innovative solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical, including the ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical personnel
- Project planning tools like MS Project, ServiceNow or Jira Plans
- ServiceNow platform experience
- Confluence administration and Jira reporting are preferred
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT systems design
- Familiarity within a ticketing system such as ServiceNow
- Experience working as Business Analyst on building Product teams or working with teams to move towards a Product mindset
- 1-3 years working in role as Software Developer, Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Customer Service and Relationships, Agile Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- 1-3 years working as a business or system analyst (BA/SA)
- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
