Senior Azure Engineer - Network Infrastructure - (Flexible Hybrid)

Fannie Mae is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer - Network Infrastructure to design and develop moderately complex solutions for IT infrastructure environments. The role offers flexibility and autonomy, with opportunities to grow career and impact the future of the industry.

Requirements

• 2 years of Azure Cloud Engineering experience supporting networking components
• Experience supporting automation and IAC specifically, Terraform
• Experience in the cloud networking space, e.g. core routing and switching
• Experience responding to incidents and mitigating infrastructure errors
• On call engagement as needed for production impacting incidents
• Planned change implementation support as needed
• Engagement with engineering team members to collaborate on solutions and escalate issues
• Knowledge of routing protocols
• Understanding of Data center infrastructure, cabling and environmental requirements
• Working knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow or similar work management tools
• Understanding of automation and ability to create rudimentary automation in network space
