Senior Azure Engineer - Network Infrastructure (Flexible Hybrid)

Fannie Mae is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer - Network Infrastructure to design and develop moderately complex solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications. Requirements

• 2 years of Enterprise Azure Cloud Engineering experience supporting networking components
• Experience supporting automation and IAC specifically, Terraform
• Experience in the cloud networking space, e.g. core routing and switching
• Experience responding to incidents and mitigating infrastructure errors
• On call engagement as needed for production impacting incidents
• Planned change implementation support as needed
• Engagement with engineering team members to collaborate on solutions and escalate issues
• Knowledge of routing protocols
• Understanding of Data center infrastructure, cabling and environmental requirements
• Working knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow or similar work management tools
• Understanding of automation and ability to create rudimentary automation in network space
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Cloud or Networking certifications
