Senior Business Analyst – CMDB Authoritative Sources

The Senior Business Analyst will coordinate with the Government to validate CI attributes and authoritative sources for the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The role involves deriving requirements, designing integrations, and developing training materials. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience, a DoD Secret Clearance, and expertise in System Administration, IT Asset Management, and ServiceNow CMDB.

• Experience with System Administration
• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, use cases and technical requirements
• Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories
• Experience conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather pertinent information
• Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization’s business areas
• Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management
• Experience in estimating techniques
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
• ServiceNow CMDB experience
• Axonius Platform experience
• Asset Management experience
• IT Operations Management (ITOM) experience
• An active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance
• Software development background
• Certified Business Analysis Professional
• Agile or Scrum Master Certification
• Certified Product Owner
• Knowledge and experience with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar service desk solution
