We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior ServiceNow Configuration Manager with development skills to manage and configure the ServiceNow platform, leverage analytical expertise to address complex business challenges, and translate challenging business requirements into innovative, scalable, and standards-compliant solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Requirements
- Seniority in Integration experience / Integration hub
- Experience in IT and Business stakeholder management as well as skilled to translate requirements to out-of-the-box functionality
- Long experience with ServiceNow in general across several modules
- Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow application as a whole with experience also but not limited to Self-service portal, catalog items, order guides
- Knowledgeable in IRM module (Integrated Risk Management – IRM)
- Ideally the resource is engaged in the online ServiceNow Community where lots of experience is shared
- Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or other relevant applications.
- Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions using standard platform features and best practices.
- Manage the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Evaluate challenging business scenarios and design effective solutions using ServiceNow standard capabilities to minimize customizations.
- Conduct impact assessments for new requirements and recommend optimal implementation approaches.
- Provide technical expertise to facilitate decision-making, addressing gaps, risks, and opportunities within requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and team members on ServiceNow development and configuration best practices.
- Collaborate with other team members and support each others for ServiceNow-related queries and escalations
- Stay updated with ServiceNow platform updates, new modules, and emerging trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, business units, and external partners.
