Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement the ServiceNow application. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow development, ITIL Foundations V3 certification, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computer science or related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications are preferred
  • ITIL Foundations V3 certification required, ITIL 4 preferred
  • Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills, eager to learn and grow skills and take on new responsibilities
  • Leads development activities with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
  • Expert in formal software development methodologies
  • Expert experience with highly integrated application systems/platforms, data flows, and business processes
  • Proven ability to think analytically, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work on a Team and good interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and completes assignments with moderate supervision
  • Broad experience with ServiceNow, in development or analyst role
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications are preferred
  • Proficient in developing, administering, and configuring all areas of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM, including CMDB, Discovery, Hardware and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), and Request, Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations
  • Integration: Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub
  • ITIL Foundations V3 certification required, ITIL 4 preferred
  • Well-versed in infrastructure, networking, and security technologies understanding how they impact and compliment the ServiceNow environment
  • Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Workflow Automation: Familiarity in designing and implementing workflows and automation within ServiceNow
  • IT Service Management (ITSM): Deep understanding of ITSM processes and best practices
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, application developer, etc
  • Experience in developing applications for Hospitality Industry preferred
  • Experience in business process improvement and systems convergence initiatives
  • Experience working with offshore development teams

Requirements Summary
