The Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer (Team Lead) will play a technical lead role in the ServiceNow Public Cloud Security Engineering team, responsible for engineering solutions to secure ServiceNow Public Cloud across all major CSPs. You will ensure the team uses leading industry practices and cutting-edge solutions to secure ServiceNow’s public cloud footprint.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science; engineering, or information technology with 12+ years of proven, related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple public Clouds like AWS, Azure & GCP foundation services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration, security, deployment and management, automation technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Linux, UNIX, and Windows)
  • In-depth knowledge of networking (routing, switching, load-balancing, intrusion detection systems and firewalls)
  • Proficient in programming languages and scripting (Java Script, Python, Bash, C/C++)
  • Experience in infrastructure automation tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform and equivalents.
  • Experience with containerization on Cloud, AKS or EKS (Dedicated/Managed/Serverless Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management.
  • Design security architecture for hybrid clouds
  • Automating operations and capacity planning
