ServiceNow Developer job description. The position involves designing, creating, deploying, and maintaining multiple ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive backend development experience with JavaScript's programming language and ServiceNow Glide. A ServiceNow developer certification is preferred.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret (TS)/SCI Clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience
• 6 years of related experience; or a Master’s with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience
• Extensive backend development experience with JavaScript’s programming language and how it applies to ServiceNow, along with ServiceNow Glide
• ServiceNow developer certification, preferably Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners
• Fully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook)
• Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required
• Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Configuration Management experience
• Configuration Management certifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Other ServiceNow certifications
• Graphics design or UX/UI design experience
• Experience in HTML/CSS and Jelly scripting
