The ServiceNow Manager is responsible for overseeing and participating in the overall development of the ServiceNow product. The ideal candidate is a master of ServiceNow development and administration procedures, as well as having experience managing a team.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
- 10+ years of experience in a software engineering role or similar
- Experience leading a team of ServiceNow developers or equivalent
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, and AngularJS
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret documentation and translate it into real workflows within the ServiceNow system
- Self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to modern technologies and evolving customer requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality, including local administrative access to all desktop equipment and data for support purposes
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and functional users to create and maintain effective workflows
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Experience with ITIL processes and best practices
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITIL, and SOW modules
- Experience with ITAM, ITBM, and ITOM
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using SOAP, REST, and other web services
- Ability to mentor and train junior developers
