SLA Automation Specialist

We are looking for a SLA Automation Specialist to join our HPE Operations team. The role will involve working in a dynamic and collaborative environment to build DevOps centered solutions using the latest technologies and tools. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ITSM & ITIL processes, as well as expertise in ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Zammad, OTRS, BMC Remedy or equivalent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• 7+ years’ of demonstrated experience working in software development teams
• Good understanding of ITSM & ITIL processes
• Expertise of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Zammad, OTRS, BMC Remedy or equivalent
• Strong Knowledge in installation & administration of Chef Software stack (Chef Server, Chef Automate, Inspec, Habitat)
• Strong knowledge of developing Chef Cookbooks, custom resources, libraries, helpers & notifications to automate infrastructure provisioning tasks integrate with third-party systems
• Proficient in Ruby/Python/Go Programming, Bash & Powershell scripting
• Good experience in working with good understanding of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Zammad, OTRS, BMC Remedy or equivalent
• Expertise in Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana platforms
• Good knowledge of building dashboards & reporting using Kibana & Grafana
• Good knowledge of build & release strategies using CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins/GitlabCI/Bamboo/TravisCI, etc)
• Should have excellent knowledge of Git workflows & code versioning in a multiuser/developer project
• Good understanding of REST APIs & building integrations using the programmable interfaces
