Trilogy Federal is seeking a Solution System Architect/Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will be a visionary technical leader with expertise in designing scalable, secure IT solutions, thriving in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Design and develop end-to-end system architectures for VA corporate IT solutions
  • Define technical strategies and roadmaps that align with CCSS 2 objectives
  • Lead the translation of VA stakeholder requirements into actionable architectural designs
  • Implement SAFe architectural principles, guiding Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
  • Engineer solutions leveraging key technologies (e.g., Java, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Jenkins)
  • Ensure architectural compliance with VA security and privacy standards
  • Utilize VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow) to document architectural designs
  • Provide technical leadership during Agile ceremonies (e.g., PI planning, sprint reviews)
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence (AI) or containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes))
  • Collaborate with VA stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), to validate solution designs
  • Mentor team members on architectural best practices and SAFe principles
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to system architecture
