Peraton is seeking an experienced Sr PowerApps Software Developer to join their Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Power Apps, PowerPages, and Microsoft Dataverse, with a strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Power Automate and cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience; or a Master's degree and 7 years; or PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on MS PowerApps.
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas) and Power Automate (cloud flows).
- Ability to write custom code (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript) to extend Power Apps functionality.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
- Knowledge of cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with other systems such as ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Office 365.
- Experience with managing environment variables and tenants within the Power Platform.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud flows using Power Automate.
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse for data storage and management.
- Experience with integrating Power Apps with SharePoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues to include migrations between tenants.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies as well as requirements review and decomposition.
- Continuous learning mindset with evidence of ongoing professional development in Power Platform technologies and software development principles.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- An active Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain final Top-Secret clearance.
