Sr. Specialist, Platform Engineering Lead – Cybersecurity Automation & AI (Remote)

We are seeking a solution-oriented Platform Engineering Lead to drive automation and orchestration across the cybersecurity technology stack. As the Platform Engineering Lead, you will coordinate and deliver automation solutions that operate across Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in security engineering, platform integration, or automation architecture
• Strong working knowledge of security tooling and APIs (ServiceNow, Defender XDR, Sentinel, etc.)
• Experience designing automations across multiple platforms using scripting, APIs, and orchestration tools
• Ability to drive results without owning tools—must operate cross-functionally in a federated environment
• Familiarity with ITSM workflows, CMDB, detection logic, and risk-based prioritization
• Experience leading technical projects with high-impact outcomes across large organizations
• Strong communicator who can clearly document workflows, governance decisions, and integration logic
