SRE Specialist

Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an intermediate SRE Specialist to join our MIS operation team. We are managing consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service Reliability and Security is our top priority.

Requirements

• 3+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) as a server platform.
• 3+ years of administration experience in Virtualized environments (e.g., VMware ESXi).
• 3+ years of practical experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Knowledge of configuring physical servers & network appliances (e.g., Dell, HP, Fortinet).
• Knowledge of monitoring network/server systems (e.g., Zabbix, ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, LDAP).
• Knowledge of deployment automation in physical and virtual environments.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
• Knowledge of the CIS security controls and hardening Operating System and applications.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task, the ability to work individually and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written across all user levels.
• Strong understanding of system security practices and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification for RHCE, CCIE, or CISSP would be the bonus.
