As a Staff Data Scientist at ServiceNow, you will bring intelligence to customer workflows by leveraging individual data, adapt to complex workflows at scale, and co-pilot the expansion of machine learning into new products. You will collaborate with a team of data scientists, developers, and product managers to master new functional areas and take ownership of customer-critical features.

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience in a commercial setting
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • Strong background in statistics, probability, and machine learning
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid software development skills and understanding of computer science fundamentals
  • Strong proficiency with Python scientific stack (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy,...)
  • Experience with neural network-based NLP technologies (Transformers, BERT, etc.) desired
  • Proficient in Java, SQL, source code control systems (git), and basic UNIX utilities
  • Strong educational background (M.S.) in a quantitative discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
