Staff Front-End, Software Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Front-End, Software Engineer to join our UX Engineering Platform team. The successful candidate will have strong front-end JavaScript experience, be passionate about creating excellent user experiences, and be excited about exploring new front-end technologies. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, building next-generation technologies on the ServiceNow cloud platform, and collaborating with teams across the organization to streamline application development and deployment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the software industry
• Experience designing and implementing highly interactive user interfaces for high-traffic web applications
• Proficiency with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, React, Node.js, jQuery, and Prototype
• Familiarity with technologies like AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST, and their associated frameworks
• Experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with open-source technologies like Linux, Apache/Tomcat, and MySQL
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (optional but preferred)
