Staff Software Engineer is responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and reusable code, working with product owners, designing software, and contributing to new product development. The role requires experience with Java, modern UI frameworks, and data structures, as well as analytical and design skills.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Analytical and design skills
- Ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level
