The Technical Project Manager will lead the transformation of Oracle databases from outdated environments to a new strategic database platform, working with a team of in-house and vendor DBAs. The role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in Oracle database administration, and experience in migrating large IT infrastructures.
Requirements
- Professional Project Management skills, especially by using agile approaches (Confluence, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- 10 -12 years relevant experience as Oracle DBA with project management skills within the IT support industry, experience in financial industry preferred
- Knowledge in transforming huge Banking IT infrastructure (preferred databases) to a new hardware & software stack
- Expertise of ServiceNow, creation & tracking of changes
- Strong communication skills (coordination of multiple application ITAOs as well as infrastructure providers)
- Experience in a multi-national & multi-provider project
- Technical expertise in Oracle database administration.
- Knowledge of Unix operating system concepts.
- Experience in decommissioning of database and hardware assets.
- Understanding of multitenant CDB/PDB concepts.
- Good understanding of Unix OS concepts specifically Linux.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Knowledge of change management process
