Trilogy Federal is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will be a skilled testing professional with expertise in automation and Agile practices, thriving in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Agile Tester Certification required
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, software quality assurance, or a related role, with a focus on federal or VA IT environments
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing automated tests in Agile settings, with hands-on experience in tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber and CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ensure software quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with VA security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST, HIPAA) and the VIP Lean-Agile framework is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) and VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow)
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements and travel occasionally to VA sites in Washington, D.C., as needed
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
