Tier 2 NOC Technician

Peraton is seeking a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join their team, providing IT monitoring and service desk support in a 24x7x365 environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in IT, network operations, or a similar role, with proficiency in networking, AWS, and Linux.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 5 years of experience in IT, network operations, or a similar role
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance
• Demonstrated proficiency in networking, AWS, and Linux
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in a Tier 2 or similar role within an enterprise-level IT or Network Operations Center
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios and ticketing systems including ServiceNow and Atlassian JIRA
