The Workday Functional Consultant supports aspects of Workday in a global business environment, collaborating with business leaders to develop tactical and strategic HR operations plans. The position will interact with internal IT organization and external service providers to pursue multiple concurrent initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
- Workday Certification in Recruitment
- 7+ years professional experience in business systems analysis/engineering, solution design, and deployment
- 3+ years of advanced experience in Workday Functional Design and configuration development
- Excellent working knowledge of Core HCM, Business Process Configuration, Security Administration, and Reporting
- Good working knowledge of Core and Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Absence Management
- Workday Phase 1 & Phase 2 implementations experience
- Data conversion concepts and impacts on business processes
- Knowledge of all phases of system development lifecycle, including new skew implementation and production support
- Subject matter expert in the Software Development Lifecycle and operating systems for HCM
- US and Global data privacy laws, GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- JIRA, ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience preferred
