Automation Test Engineer

Acuity is looking for a QA Tester with a ServiceNow background and automation testing experience, specifically focusing on Automated Test Framework (ATF) development and execution as well as API testing. The position is remote with a requirement of 2-3 days a month onsite in Washington, DC.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in automation testing
• 4+ years of specific experience testing both back-end and front-end applications and APIs utilizing both manual & automated testing processes
• 4+ years experience with test automation frameworks
• 2+ years experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch
• 4+ years experience writing test automation scripts
• Experience designing and implementing test plans, with an emphasis on automated test planning using ATF and API test tools
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent related experience
• Attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects
• Knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
