Consultant role partnering with Business and Technical service owners to gather data and requirements for configuration items and services to be discovered and mapped. Ensures discovery automation is configured to collect necessary data to populate the ServiceNow CMDB and create and maintain service maps.
Requirements
- Good Understanding of IT Infrastructure
- Strong people interaction skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail; a high bar for quality results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated to keep learning more about the ServiceNow platform
- Strong experience in scripting using JavaScript, SQL, PowerShell, RegEx, Putty, Groovy Bash
- Ability to design and implement integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub and custom integration using REST API
- Hands-on experience with discovery of AWS and Azure cloud resources
- Ability to perform ServiceNow platform development using ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes and Security Rules
