Responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing the day-to-day operations and activities of the payroll operations team for Corewell Health and subsidiaries. Ensures compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local tax laws. Establishes strong relationships with key stakeholders and creates a strong internal control environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business administration, human resources or accounting
- 7 years of relevant experience in direct payroll management experience
- 5 years of relevant experience in leadership experience
- 3 years of relevant experience in a fully automated time & attendance, payroll environment within a large, multi-site organization
- 1 year of relevant experience in Workday, ServiceNow and UKG pro
- Experience with union contracts and labor relation nuances
- CRT-Payroll Professional, Certified (CPP) - UNKNOWN - Upon Hire
