Leidos is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and support an IT service management tool (ServiceNow) for a large organisation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux administration, automation, and system integration, and will be responsible for maintaining system stability, security, and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Linux Engineer, System Administrator, or a similar role in an enterprise environment
  • Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or Perl
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, preferably ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM principles and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
