This role involves leading and supervising a team of IT consultants and staff, developing and maintaining IT applications within the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) office. The position focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of applications, providing expert guidance, and managing projects. The position is subject to budget limitations, starting with a one-year contract and renewal in July 2025.
Requirements
- Lead and manage a team of IT consultants/staff
- Develop and implement best practices for IT enterprise applications
- Work with architects to ensure software design
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions
- Manage and implement development projects
- Coordinate and troubleshoot technical issues
Requirements Summary
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 5+ years IT management/leadership experience, including project or team leadership. Experience with .NET, SQL Server, and ServiceNow is preferred
