BorgWarner is seeking an IT Technician Intern to work at our North/Central/South American Service Desk. The candidate should have basic knowledge of IT technology and be able to monitor, troubleshoot, and route IT tickets. Additional requirements include strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of IT technology such as VPN, User accounts, and basic desktop computing
- Knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and ServiceNow is a plus
- Ability to efficiently communicate and present information with confidence and professionally to the end user
- One year of IT related classes or equivalent experience
- Undergraduate/Graduate student attending an accredited university with an emphasis in Computer Science or related field
- Must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must have availability to work a minimum of 25-29 hours per week
- Must be detail oriented
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Highly collaborative and team oriented
