ServiceNow is seeking a Manager of Performance Engineering to lead a team of architects, engineers, and managers driving the performance engineering efforts within their agile software development process. The ideal candidate has a strong background in performance testing/engineering involving enterprise software platforms and applications, with experience in leading complex performance engineering projects. They will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that allows direct influence on the organization and their most important customers.
Requirements
- BS / MS / PhD. in computer science (or equivalent) with around 10+ years of experience, 3 years in leadership role in performance engineering.
- Strong skills in industry standard performance test frameworks such as JMeter/Load Runner
- Knowledge / Experience with performance monitoring and reporting frameworks such as Splunk, Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, ELK/Kibana
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, brings clarity to ambiguous situations, facilitates and arbitrates technical discussions and has the ability to make challenging calls or recommendations
- Strong and unwavering commitment to making customers successful, relentless focus on delivering results through innovation and proactive action
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with professionalism, integrity, passion, and accountability in a globally distributed hybrid work environment
- Solid understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies
