Network Engineer/Analyst (VAXCOM)

Parsons is seeking a talented Network Engineer/Analyst to join their Federal Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in designing and maintaining voice infrastructure, with expertise in Cisco and Avaya products. The role involves designing system architecture, maintaining existing VoIP environments, and providing technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• 10+ years of related experience
• Experience with Cisco Unified Call Manager, Cisco Meeting Server, and Cisco Meeting Manager
• Experience with Cisco Jabber
• Experience with Cisco Telepresence Management Suite and Cisco Expressways is desired
• Experience with the configuration of voice end-point hardware
• Experience with Avaya Call Management System would be beneficial, but not required
• Experience with VMware ESXI platform
• Experience with designing QoS policies over WAN
• Experience with engineering and maintaining Compunetix Mission Voice Platform. (desired)
• Experience with Cisco IOS
• Experience with Juniper JUNOS
• Experience with PBX is desired
• Experience with TDM and SBC
• Experience building/managing servers in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment is desired
• Experience with managing work tasks via tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow
• System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs
• CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
